Robin Johanna Archer

I grew up in a small town on the midwestern prairie, and I am still drawn to that wide-open landscape, old houses, quiet main streets, and the everyday objects that I imagine my grandmothers would have used. I document what inspires me with watercolor, gouache, and the camera lens, searching for a broader story in the nature, buildings, and objects that link the past to the present in an echo of memory, place, and time. I live in Minneapolis with my husband and dog. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, reading, writing, and exploring my neighborhood and city, while taking way too many photos of my welsh terrier, Scout.
